Smile A Day
In summer 2015, I was honored to join the Marcus Graham Creative Bootcamp as an art director, which took me to Dallas, Texas. That summer, in the midst of learning from and working with 14 other exceptional individuals, I experienced one of the most unexpected and emotionally painful situations of my life. After weeks of working through that challenge and thanks to my amazing friends, I made a life-changing decision – to always channel my emotions into art. One afternoon, my inner voice spoke to me and one of the greatest ideas was born: Smile A Day. It’s my passion project and my branded photographic digital journal. I freely go into communities, sometimes unfamiliar surroundings, connect with people and capture the richness of life through the lens of their smiles. I have build up a community of over 5000 followers on Instagram in less than one year. My mission through this project is to curate happiness and spread positivity one person at a time.
